This project was created for Virtual Reality, depicting the Indus Valley Civilization. It allows users to experience the civilization of Mohenjo-Daro, which is currently in ruins, through an immersive design.
Mohenjo-Daro was one of the largest settlements of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization and one of the world's earliest major cities. Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro were expertly planned cities built with a grid pattern of wide, straight streets and an intricate drainage system that was ahead of its time. Unfortunately, it was abandoned in the 19th century BCE and is currently threatened by erosion and improper restoration. The Immersive Experience Project takes this into consideration by creating an opportunity to relive lost eras and times.
